The Economic and Workforce Development Program has conducted four extensive
literature reviews and six business surveys to determine trends and workforce
requirements of Nanotechnology/MEMS, Biotechnology, Advanced Manufacturing, and
Intelligent Transportation Systems by 2015. How California responds to and supports
these technologies now will shape its competitive advantage in the 21st Century.
